TASPO Award Finalist

TASPO Award Finalist

The TASPO Awards are presented in different categories each year in autumn. Since 2006, notable achievements, ideas and concepts of the green industry have been awarded and honored. Based on the submitted documents and applications, a jury chooses 80 finalists from around 150 applications in 17 categories. The actual winners remain secret until the award ceremony and are announced as part of a glamorous gala at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin.

This year we can hope for one of the desired awards for converda. Together with Intratuin Groencentrum B.V. we have applied in the category “Best cooperation of the Year” and reached this year’s final. The basis of the application is the existing business relationship between the Dutch garden center and converda as a marketer reaching its current peak in 2017.

Since 2008, we have been working together on sales-promoting concepts, individual assortments and custom-made products that appeal to international customers. Always in view: transparency towards customers and suppliers. At the end of 2015, in cooperation with Intratuin, we have built up a network of organic producers to meet customer requirements and the sustainability trend. Step by step, a new organic assortment has been developed in close cooperation with the producers. The first plants were reserved for pilot stores from Intratuin.

The goal for the coming year is to increase the sales volume of organic plants to 10 percent of the total sales in Intratuin garden centers. To achieve this, we started to work up training and information services for existing and potential partners. The cooperation between converda and Intratuin has excelled very positively in recent years and has incorporated breeders, producers, marketers and garden centers into a strong network.

Now, we are looking forward to an exciting award ceremony in Berlin and we wish all participants and finalists best of luck.
